Erastus, Captain of 10 – Daniel Spencer/Ira Eldredge Company in 1847, age 49, was accompanied by wife, Lucinda, age 49, many children, and son Sanford, age 26 who married Martha Lewis on route.
Fife, Agnes Ann, Adam, Helen Sharp
Adam, 45, wife Helen Sharp, 42, and 8 children including Agnes Ann, age 5 came with the Wilkin Freight Train in 1851. This was a group of Scottish immigrants.
Gaisford, Isaac, Ellen Raikes
Isaac, 37 and Ellen Raikes, 27 crossed with the John Tidwell Company in 1852.
Garner, Phillip Roemma, Mary
Phillip, age 39 was with the Mormon Battalion Sick Detachment in 1847. In 1849, he, 40, brought his wife, Mary Hedrick, age 38 and 9 children across with the Silas Richards Company.
Gates, Lucinda (found as Lucinda Gates Bingham), Thomas
Thomas, age 71 traveled with the Daniel Spencer/Ira Eldredge Company in 1847.
Wells, Mary, Stephen, Mary Ann
Stephen, 28, and Mary Ann, 36, must have traveled across the plains in 1851 in an unidentified company. Evidence that the Stephen and Mary Wells came to Utah in 1851 is based on their marriage in Kanesville in June 1851 and the birth of Mary Ester in Salt Lake City in May 1852, prior to the arrival of that season's emigration. They had to have traveled to Utah in 1851.
Whitehead, Adolphus, Mary, Elizabeth
Elizabeth Jane Jarrold Whitehead, 45, brough her 4 children across the plains with the Milo Andrus Company in 1855. Son Adolphus was 13. For some reason husband, Francis stayed in England, but died in 1862 – this date must be a mistake because she is listed as a “widow with four children.”

Hedrick, Mary (listed as Mary Hedrick Garner)
Lowe, Mary Ann (listed as Mary Ann Lowe Wells)
Ricks or Raikes, Ellen (listed as Ellen Gasiford)
Sharp, Ellen (found as Ellen Sharp Fife).

George Washington HICKMAN & Lucy Ann HAWES
I drove to Benjamin today while trying to recharge a car battery. I couldn't stop at the cemetery but wondered if George or Lucy were buried there. Since arriving home, I've looked up their information and found that they were buried in Payson, Utah.

An interesting note from Lucy's obituary: After George died, she built a brick house at 691 North University Ave, Provo, UT. Also (from the hickmanfamily site below): her sister's diary uses the spelling HAWS instead of HAWES.

Elizabeth ADAMS (HICKMAN)

No picture of Elizabeth has yet been found, but this is a picture of her tombstone, found broken to pieces in a pig pen by Hope and Lynn Hilton on the Hickman family farm in Missouri. Accompanied by a depiction of a weeping willow, It reads:
OUR MOTHER
( )
ELIZABETH
WIFE OF

DIED
Dec. 5th 1877.
Aged 84 Yrs. 1 Mo. 20 d.
The following is a letter written by Elizabeth Adams Hickman in 1867 to her son George Washington Hickman who had converted to Mormonism and was living at Benjamin, Utah Territory. This was after the end of the Civil War, and a reference is made to the slaves having been freed. The letter is filled with a variety of family news, including mention of the death of George's brother Josiah Harvey Hickman. The church that is mentioned is probably a local Methodist church:
Adair, Missouri
May 2, 1867
Dear Son:
It has been a long time since we have had a line from you you may want to know how we are doing since the Blacks left we are doing very well we have a plenty to live on we are in common health at this time health is good here. We have had a cold winter we had colder weather in March than any time in the winter. We received 2 letters from Iowa, one from Jane, one from Easom they bring us distressing news. George your dear Brother J.H. is dead he died on the 7th of April he was sick about 7 weeks. We hoped to live by again but he has left this troublesome world he has gone to rest we ought not to grieve after him believing he is happy.
George we are all alone now have no child in the State and our time cannot be long in this world we are getting old, your father is 75 I am 73 soon and let us know how you are do not wait for me to write it is a hard task for me to write
E.T. & Elizabeth Hickman
We had a protracted meeting here in this neighborhood last August there was 39 addition to the Church your father and I was of that number 2 days after the meeting broke up we went to Iowa we went to J.H. first and he went with us all the round we went to Easoms next and then we went to see Rhoda he appeared to enjoy himself. Well I am glad that we went to see him he was much rejoiced that his father had joined the Church.

I checked the IGI. Almost everyone has made this same mistake. One listing put Elizabeth as Ralph STANDISH and Alice HARRINGTON's daughter. I'll leave my records to reflect this, but it probably needs to be verified.
